the best out of them because Ramadan is a month of blessings and gaining loads of rewards for only one deed. Allah has mentioned this month in the Quran as a loan which makes it a necessary to be used. We should take advantage of Ramadan, for we will not guarantee if we stay alive to the coming Ramadan. So prepare yourselves and have the initiative to work and renew your intentions. Some people intend to visit the holy mosque but they might have a car accident or sickness, Allah will reward them by their intentions and preparation which adds to their account. Actually, this course we're not going to just overwhelm you with emotions and that's it. The course is purely a good-deed if you renew your intentions to Allah the one and only. And to prepare yourself, you have to equip yourself with verses of the Quran and saying of the prophets (Hadiths). By the end of this course, you would be pleased in everything you do especially with time because you would feel its blessings, you finish reading the Quran several times of the month, you would have energy for Qiyam, and refine and improve your Salah and place it before Nawafil (Voluntary Prayers) whenever you could.
Some scholars say: whoever not shows Allah his/her upmost Ihsan and giving, righteousness, and generosity, etc. he/she should know that she/he is deprived.
Why did we choose Salah "paryer" even though there're other kinds of worships:
1- Prayer is a symbol of Islam. Allah says: " And whoso observe the sanctity of what have been ordained as Symbols *60 of Allah, do so because of the piety of the hearts." *61 That means who ever prays, has the Taqwa "pity of the heart" not for dunia but for Allah, Allah SWT says: (2:183) O Believers, the Fast has been made obligatory on you just as it was prescribed for the followers of the Prophets before you. It is expected that this will produce piety in you. *183
2- Prayer is one of the pillars of Islam. The more you work on it the more you reinforce a pillar of Islam which is very important.
3- Prayer is mentioned in Quran and Hadith, you wouldn't find a verse of quran that says pray or act a prayer but it starts by Iqamah, which has a significant meaning that is different than the other deeds.
4- Prayer erases your sins and makes you close to Allah, so we have to correct our actions.
5- Prayer is a relation between the servant and his/her Allah, and in Al-fatihah's interoperation is a dialogue between Allah and his servant.
6- Prayer is obligated day and night and you pray 5 times a day in addition to "Nawafil", volunteer prayers, through the day.
Prayer is our prophet's will before he died for its importance. Allah complemented Ibrahim when he said: "Lord! help make me establish Salat and from among my descendants (raise those who should do this work). Lord! grant my prayer." (Quran 14:40)
